Surprise SDE in Houston

Staci and Drew had asked us to come down to Houston and film their special day at the Vineyards at the Waverly Manor which is a beautiful estate just north of Houston. We were looking forward to warm weather and sunshine but ran into a very rare event in Houston, Texas … SNOW. Because of the weather, the opportunity of having their outdoor wedding was in question. We ended up surprising Staci and Drew with an SDE an hour and a half after the ceremony. We want to thank the warm hospitality of Ric and Mary, who immediately made us feel part of the family. I am sure we will be back at the Waverly Manor soon and look forward to spending more time in this great state.

Rachael’s Trash the Dress

Done earlier this year in “perfect” weather we worked with Rachael to do this piece. After cleaning up and drying out all our gear we finally got this out of our studio. There are cool things down the road for us and we hope that you check in from time to time.

We captured Maurizia and Pierre in their hometown of Pittsburgh an entire year before their wedding. We had a great time getting to know them and can’t wait to shoot their exciting day next September. Here is a preview.

The Club at Hillbrook

We had a great experience shooting Stephanie and Eric’s wedding in Hunting Valley in July. The team at Club Hillbrook asked us to create a piece to be displayed on their website.

double O SDEs! Ohio + Oahu = Labors Of Love

The first half of a double SDE on September 5th. the venue was at Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens. This was the first double SDE for our studio. The wedding was a small intimate ceremony and Special thanks to Randy Panado who flew in from Honolulu, Hawaii to fly his Steadicam and edit the piece. Also thanks to Brian Jones of iDreamimages who captured the day through his creative photography.

This is the second SDE done yesterday. A combination engagement shoot // SDE. A compelling intimate story involving reunion, strong family ties and a very special couple. Something worth mentioning…many times the vendors at these events go through a whole day without a bite. Not only were we looked after but it was the first time at a wedding where the groom and his father brought food to us personally. Thanks again Eric and LeeAnn for letting us be part of this milestone.
